Beach Waste Gets New Life From Kini Beach

We are always fond of companies that help keep Hawaii clean and beautiful. Kini Beach is an eco-friendly company that takes discarded grass mats, innertubes, body-boards, and floats and turns them into totes and canoe paddle companies. Check out some of their wares:

$6M Center to be Built at Volcanoes National Park with Stimulus Grant

The AP is reporting on the new center to go up in Volcanoes National Park using the new Federal Stimulus Money from the Obama Administration:
