Big Island Video News has news of the latest exhibit of The Big Island Woodturners:

The Big Island Woodturners are kicking off their 11th Annual Exhibit at the Wailoa Center Gallery in Hilo, Hawaii today.

The show, which runs from March 6 to 27, features works from members from all over Hawaii County, and exhibits over 200 turnings.

Various bowls and sculptures showcase the diversity of woods, turning styles, and techniques.

Woodturning demonstrations will be held each Saturday. Events also include a critique of the exhibited works, an educational display, and a silent auction on Friday’s opening night. It is free to the public.
